A new champion will be crowned on October 3, 2007. Earlier today FEG officially announced the fight card for the K-1 World Max 2007 World Championship Finals. The stand out fight from the tournament has to be the rematch between Masato and 2004 and 2006 K-1 World Max Champion Buakaw Por. Pramuk. These two had a very memorable match at World Max 2004 which Buakaw took by decision. Masato looks to get revenge against the very tough defending champion.
In another tournament matches we'll see 2005 World Max Champion Andy Souwer take on the very tough Drago. Souwer comes into the fighting riding a fight 5 win streak. His last loss came at the hands of Buakaw in the 2006 tournament. Drago lost his last match via decision against Mike Zambidis, who is also in the tournament. Also on the card is a Super Fight between undefeated K-1 Max newcomer HIROYA and Korean fighter Kwon Eolzzang.
